These principles focus on having kids shape their learning experience and involving them in decision-making. They are allowed to have a voice in what they learn and how they learn it while understanding the value of it.
It is much easier to do something and stay motivated to finish it when it has a purpose. By giving students a picture of what they are working towards, they will be more focused and driven to work towards the goal, whether it is academics related or not.
